NSW: Three people hurt in crash following police chase

A suspected stolen vehicle has crashed in Sydney's west after a police chase, injuring
both occupants and a pedestrian.

Police began the pursuit shortly before 8am (AEDT) after receiving reports about break-ins
in the Quakers Hill area.

New South Wales police say the vehicle crashed through a water-filled barricade and
then into a delivery truck outside a construction site at the intersection of Alpha and
Patrick Streets at Blacktown.

A woman pedestrian aged in her 20s was hit by a piece of barricade.

Police say a male and female travelling in the vehicle which crashed have been taken
to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition.
