WA: Officers to investigate claims of cane toads in WA

PERTH, Jan 17 AAP - There are fears cane toads have finally found their way into WesternAustralia.
The WA Department of Conservation and Land Management (CALM) is investigating a reportedsighting of three cane toads at a cattle station near Derby, 2,400km north of Perth.
A contractor told a department officer he found the noxious pests in the station'sworkshop about a week ago.
The contractor said one was killed, but the other two escaped.
