Tiger Branson leads Virgin to Hobart
Virgin Blue has flown into Hobart for the first time -- led by its boss dressed asa Tasmanian tiger.
The arrival of its inaugural flight from Melboure one day short of its second anniversaryin Australia means the discount airline now covers every capital city.
Virgin group chairman Sir RICHARD BRANSON bounded from the plane at Hobart Airportin a full-length thylacine outfit and with whiskers painted on his face.
Virgin Blue, which already operates out of Launceston, will initially run one returnservice a day between Melbourne and Hobart.
Sir RICHARD says he expects demand will soon justify more flights and a direct servicebetween Sydney and Hobart.
